Private Interest Foundations are a tool used to protect and manage family assets, fixed assets, savings, bank accounts, corporate shares or other types of assets.
As for Corporations, the Commercial Section of the Public Registry of Panama issues Certificates of registered Foundations, to prove their existence.
This certification contains the foundation's incorporation date, legal status (active or dissolved), along with other information of general character. It is important to emphasize that both the information regarding final beneficiaries of the Foundation as the Foundation rules, are private documents not publicly accessible.
The official institution authorized to issue these certificates is the Public Registry of Panama. The process begins by submitting a request to obtain the Certificate of Incorporation of the Private Interest Foundation followed by making payment of the expenses established by the law.
Your request has been submitted successfully, we will respond as soon as possible.
